Welcome!

Rosalie Cooperative School of Young Children was formerly a unique licensed home-based program for young children, located in the Albuquerque. The program closed shortly before the Coronavirus pandemic.

Our mission is to provide a forum for active citizenship in which children and adults participate together in projects of social, cultural, economic and political significance.

Our philosophy:

We believe that children are born as citizens of today. They are not waiting to become but rather living, loving and laughing here and now. And they are strong.

Children come into the community as competent and capable individuals. Protagonists in their own learning, children engage in the intellectual, social and emotional pursuit of the good life. As citizens of today, they have voices and rights in democratic society.

Inspired by the municipal preprimary schools and infant/toddler centers of Reggio Emilia, Italy, Rosalie Cooperative School of Young Children works to meet the rights of young children and their families in the pursuit of the good life by providing the space, time, resources and intellectual climate for children ages 0-4 to work together with peers and adults in projects of social, cultural, economic and political significance.

And, above all, "Nothing without joy."
