Membership

To take materials home from the Wemagination Center, you must become a member. It's easy!

First, sign up for one of our 2 hour Play Orientation Workshops. The workshops are free of cost and will help you learn about how children can use our open-ended materials for learning.

Next, purchase a membership card which will allow you to pick up materials at the center. A $20 membership allows you to take 8 cubic feet of learning materials and a $48 membership entitles you to 24 cubic feet of materials. Each time you pick up materials, Wemagination staff will punch one or more cubic feet from your card. The cards do not expire and more than one name can be on a single card. Often a school will pay for a membership card and have the teachers who are eligible to pick up materials listed on the card.

Then, once you have your membership card, visit the Wemagination Center during business hours or by appointment to pick up materials. We will punch your card for each cubic foot of materials you choose to take.

We encourage all of our members to consider reusability when picking up materials. Instead of having children glue pieces together and then sending their creation home to be added to a landfill, we challenge you to promote ecological responsibility in children by using materials from the our center in ways that allow them to be used again and again.
